Australia's gum trees shed many of their leaves in the hotter months. They slowly change colour as they lie and slowly dry on the ground around the trees. They go through quite a range of colours from their original greens, to reds and browns, as well as pinks, yellows and creams, and finally end up dry on the forest floor. This design is a collection of gum leaves piled on top of one another on the forest floor as they have fallen from the trees.
